Help Deviated Septum Without Surgery

Just like other bones of the body, the bones of the nasal septum are subject to deviation. Symptoms of a deviated nasal septum include breathing difficulties, facial pain, sinus infections and sometimes headache. Traditionally, each of these symptoms is usually treated separately until the ultimate diagnosis of deviated nasal septum is made. This is usually treated surgically. Fortunately, there is help for deviated septum without the use of surgery.

Other bones of the body are frequently misaligned (subluxated) due to trauma or repetitive microtrauma. Just as these can be manually realigned through a controlled adjustment, the bones of the skull can be influenced towards their normal alignment through adjustments.

There are different techniques among alternative health practitioners that perform this procedure. In our office we utilize what is called Endonasal Technique wherein a small balloon is insterted into the nasal cavity and briefly inflated to achieve correction. Similar techniques include Neuro-Cranial Restructuring (NCR) and Cranial Release Technique (CRT). Differing techniques include Cranial Adjusting Turner Style (CATS) and CranioSacral Therapies.
